About

The Research Center for Health Statistics and GIS was established in 2007 with the support of the World Health Organization as the Center for Research Methodology, to support the research work of graduate students and provide research methodological advice. The center is currently run by the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the School of Public Health.

With the establishment of the Institute of Public Health and investment from the University of Loma Linda, USA, the center was completely renovated with the capacity to conduct research on health statistics and geographical information. Its purpose is to contribute to public health by conducting research, training, and professional activities on research work.
